Le bateau ravitailleur de la base est encore dans la baie. Il a \u00e9galement transport\u00e9 une partie des nouveaux r\u00e9sidents, ceux qui s\u2019appr\u00eatent \u00e0 passer 1 ann\u00e9e ici. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Nous rencontrons le chef des scientifiques, Maximilian Perier. Un mat\u00e9 \u00e0 la main, il nous fait visiter le laboratoire. Pas encore tr\u00e8s actif car tout le monde n\u2019a pas encore pris possession des lieux. Nous rencontrons Luca, un autre scientifique qui aura l\u2019occasion d\u2019\u00e9changer avec H\u00e9l\u00e8ne sur leurs \u00e9tudes respectives. Si H\u00e9l\u00e8ne est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les algues, Luca est micro-biologiste et travaille sur un programme de restauration des sols pollu\u00e9s. Ici, il travaille sur les pollutions que la base produit. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ensuite, nous passons par le centre de plong\u00e9e en tentant d\u2019\u00e9viter les deux \u00e9l\u00e9phants de mer qui nous barrent le passage. Derri\u00e8re ces deux colosses, un petit attroupement de manchots papous se jette \u00e0 l\u2019eau si l\u2019on s\u2019approche trop d\u2019eux. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>De retour au bateau, je m\u2019att\u00e8le au montage du kayak solaire tandis qu\u2019Eric, Laurence et Bertrand partent visiter la base scientifique cor\u00e9enne, situ\u00e9e non loin de l\u00e0. Alejandro invite les chefs de service de la base argentine \u00e0 bord du catamaran. Ils ne viennent pas les mains vide et nous am\u00e8nent du jambon cru et de la copa! Alejandro vante l\u2019hospitalit\u00e9 argentine et se demande comment nos amis seront accueillis chez les Cor\u00e9ens&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A bord du NDS Evolution, la coutume du samedi, c\u2019est la pizza et c\u2019est notre amiral qui s\u2019en charge.
