PlanetSolar's objective is to achieve the first round-the-world sea voyage powered by solar energy, but also to promote alternative energies and sustainable development. An important promotional effort is therefore an important part of this project, which will indirectly offer a good visibility to its partners whilst associating them to positive values.
PlanetSolar is indeed a pioneering project; a mixture of adventure and innovation aimed at bettering the environment. It is a project that illustrates the challenges our planet is confronted to.

Future guaranteed
PlanetSolar has made a huge step forward when it signed a first partnership agreement with a main partner whose identity will be revealed before the summer. This partnership guarantees no less than the development and construction of the PlanetSolar boat and allows the entire project to move into an active phase. The construction of the boat will indeed start in September 2008.
