			Subscribe to our newsletter ! newsletter, May 12, 2010 Dear Friends of PlanetSolar, At the beginning of May, the largest solar-powered catamaran in the world navigated for the first time off Kiel, thus marking the beginning of the test phase which should last until the end of the summer. At the same time, the entire PlanetSolar team was in Hamburg from the 7th to the 9th of May for the Hafengeburtstag. As the guest of honour at the largest port festival in the world, the PlanetSolar project made its debut with the public and set up its Village on the banks of the River Elbe. 200'000 spectators were able to admire the futuristic lines of the largest solar-powered catamaran in the world and find out about the PlanetSolar project philosophy. The entire PlanetSolar team is also delighted to announce that the PlanetSolar book has been published. This richly illustrated album allows you to discover the genesis of the project, the basic idea, the progression, etc., but also the creation and construction of the boat together with its first launching.
